There are still peoples in the world who have never heard the name of Jesus. In Burkina Faso and throughout West Africa, there are entire communities without access to the Gospel. These are the so-called Unreached Peoples. People who live, grow up, and pass away without ever having had the opportunity to know the truth. But we believe that the Gospel must reach everyone.That is why CAFI works directly to advance the Gospel among these peoples. Bible translation—bringing the Word of God to people who cannot read, but who can hear and understand the message of salvation in their own language. Every church planted, every life reached, every community transformed... is a step toward fulfilling the mission. But this is a monumental challenge—and it cannot be undertaken alone.
